Back when going to school and being near people used to be a thing, we’d say “elbow to elbow, knee to knee, book in the middle so both can see!” when it was partner reading time 🙂

Sometimes at team planning meetings teachers would joke with each other, “elbow to elbow, knee to knee, laptop in the middle…”

Do kids still say the rhyme “Mabel, Mabel, if you’re able, keep your elbows off the table”?
I haven’t heard it from any kids! We should reintroduce it! 🙂
