Maine was as grey as Boston has been, but still offered me a good time last weekend.

Luckily, despite the warning, no lives were lost the day we were at Pemaquid Point. Alayne and Katie crept as close as they dared to the spray.

After a few too many grainy, blurry shots of my little nephew, I realized it was time for a camera upgrade.  Here’s one shot I managed to snag on the new model last night after the battery charged and before the sun set.

Yes, the kitty still loves to camp in his kitty tent.

I haven’t gotten a new pair of glasses since moving east. So it was definitely time to get with the program.

The Revolution provided scarves for the home opener.

They also provided a win.

Grandma Linda and I took Oliver for a little stroll through the hallways.

I will not be joining in the craziness of St. Patties in the greater Boston area, but I did make green beer.  Food coloring probably rots the cells in my body or something, but I have a bunch from making Christmas cookies and I’ve never had green beer.  I feel like my mom used to make green pancakes or something for the holiday (is that true Mom?).

You left coasters should also know that Boston celebrates Evacuation Day today, with some lucky folks getting the day off.

What’s everyone else doing?  Corned beef and cabbage?  General beer drinking?  Potatoes galore?

Lincoln’s aunt Molly is in town while her folks are out of town.  This means two furry beasts in the house.  It also makes for some hissing and growling.

Think they can work out their differences and become pals?

This post may be about puzzles, but it’s not about jigsaw puzzles and I’ll even throw in a cute nephew picture.

Okay, now on to the puzzle. Surely you’ve heard of Sudoku. This new puzzle is similar, but involves a little math as well. I’m starting to get the hang of it, so go try it out and let me know what you think.

My Sudoku experience definitely helps.  I also must admit I’ve had to use a calculator a little.

I mean, enough about puzzles after I point out that you can do jigsaw puzzles online.  I just did this one.

It took me 8 minutes.

Looks like I have to cover up some of my site for this puzzle.  It’s good to change things up a bit.
