Distance to turkey

Since I haven’t been home for six Thanksgivings (since moving east), I decided to brave the crowds and head over to the other coast this year.

How about you?

To NABLOPOMO or not

November approaches. For the past three Novembers, I have posted something every single day. That’s 30 posts in 30 days, no excuses. Should I keep the tradition alive? Or are you sick of it?

Two months, two days away

The big birthday is steadily approaching.  Perhaps it’s time to consider a few lifestyle tweaks for my next decade.  You know, to fit in better with the other folks my age.

What did everybody else do (or plan to do) when they crossed the 30 line?

The Facebook

Sigh.

I am on the Facebook.  Some of you have noticed and sent friend requests.   I haven’t responded.  I originally signed up for an account for work I think.  I never used it.

Pie on my mind

Instead of birthday cake, I always want birthday pie.  That’s why I love Thanksgiving.  Pie is generally the dessert of choice for this meal.  So, which pie would you most like to dig into next week?

Meat, no meat, meat, no meat

Time to admit the truth.  I ate a turkey sandwich on my trip to the Pacific coast.  Okay, okay, it was a club sandwich, bacon piled high atop the turkey.

In case anybody is unawares, I haven’t been eating meat for about four years now.  Being off the wagon (or back on, depending on your point of view) left me feeling ill.  Now that could also be attributed to the copious amounts of bacon I had at breakfast the following morning.  Or to my generally unbalanced stomach.  Add traveling into the mix and I can’t be certain how much the meat eating contributed to my getting a little sick.

I will say that the meat kept me feeling full for a really, really long time.  So, even though I will most likely be giving meat another try, what do you think?

To buy, or not

After a few rounds of four player Mario Kart, the need for a TV feeling has reemerged. Though it’s easy to spend other people’s money, I ask, should I buy a bigger, flatter set? Do they even call them ‘sets’ anymore?

Almost over

Tomorrow is the last day of my November blog month experiment. It was much easier than writing a novel in 30 days, but not as satisfying.

I would like to give more attention to easysticks once it’s over, but I’m not quite sure how much. So help me out, wouldja?
