Last week Landry’s teacher (via video) read 5 Laura Numeroff books. This week it’s the students’ turn to write their own circular stories!

Landry’s worm eats a watermelon, requires a napkin, goes to the closet, finds a piece of paper there, wants to paint, makes a mess, needs a napkin, and is reminded of watermelon. “Best guess” spelling for the win!

Meanwhile, Hazel was inspired by a book of animal facts today

She took copious notes and shared facts generously with the family

Wow!
If you give a Landry a story-writing assignment…
If you give a Hazel a book of facts…
AMAZING work. (I read them both!) I see you have a lefty and a righty, eh? 😉
Yep, Landry’s a lefty like my dad!
