PERFECT THING to do in New Hampshire on a birthday – ICE CREAM/WE ALL SCREAM! OK, where did you go for ice cream, exactly? Not sure I know the best Silver Lake options, but I could sure look them up! Remember the Dam Ice Cream Shop on 16, way back in the day? That wasn’t far from Silver Lake. It was a frequent Zitin stop in transit to or from camp, though not necessarily our favorite ice cream. Just kind of one of those tradition things. Now a park, I believe. And what became of the Swedish tea/gift shop, across 16 near that location? Seemed to be gone last time we were up there.
We went to a relatively new scoop shop on Rt. 41: The Eldridge Family Sugar House & Ice Cream Shoppe. I recommend it!
I know where you got your ice cream, but I can’t quite identify all the flavors. What is Hazel’s? And what did Mommy have?
Happy birthday, Annie!!
Hazel: cookie dough
Annie: cotton candy
Landry: mint chocolate chip
Katie: cookies & cream
