Memorial Day at Staircase

For those not in the know, Staircase is an access point to Olympic National Park

We hiked the Rapids Loop Trail

Which hugs the north fork of the Skokomish River

Then crosses along this bridge

(Isn’t it impressive?)

As well as several other “balance beam bridges” along the way

Landry found pinecones

And fern alleys

And trekked an impressive, enthusiastic mile before cozying up in the carrier
