Hazel’s 7th birthday and vacation week

Part of Hazel’s birthday celebration came early this year

Grandma Linda got in on the action

And Oliver too!

The very next day….to the airport (with rice)

Then on to the (still frozen) wilds of New Hampshire

The kids harvested sheets of ice

With big tools

This was a multi-day activity

Involving multiple changes of clothes each day

And occasional breaks to take in the view

Landry got a kick out of Grampy’s boathouse decorations (pointing here to a “real trophy!” out of the shot)

Puzzling at the Madison Library

And reading a Magic Tree House book to Grammy

On Hazel’s last day as a six year old we went to a playground

Then, seven years old! Wow!

We had fun at the Children’s Museum of NH

Whoa!

This exhibit was our absolute favorite. The projected contour map changed shape and color as we shifted sand beneath it
