While I did manage to do a lot of shopping for gifts this weekend, I was tempted left and right by stuff for myself.
Just this morning I picked up the new Kanye and Ne-Yo for $3.99 each on Amazon. They claim they’ll put cheap albums up every day for the next week.
Also, anyone who doesn’t yet have a Zappos VIP membership, grab one by Friday.
Any other deals I need to throw money at?
We saw Sufjan Stevens (he says Suf-yawn) last night. It was okay. Dude is a little boring frankly and I might have liked to just hear the music. Not so much the talking.
Also it was in stark contrast to The Tallest Man On Earth from last month. Which was excellent. You can listen to a replica of that on NPR.

We did finally arrive in Seattle and didn’t waste a minute. Sounders game. Gelato. Shopping. Pizza. Farmer’s market. Sprinting through the airport at Sea-Tac, our names being called overhead. Fun, fun, fun! Well, mostly fun.

Maine was as grey as Boston has been, but still offered me a good time last weekend.
Luckily, despite the warning, no lives were lost the day we were at Pemaquid Point. Alayne and Katie crept as close as they dared to the spray.
