Our kid-size table is now Hazel’s in-room office

I spent the morning in Landry’s classroom, taking pictures. Some highlights:

Same seat, many different projects

Thinking and talking about planets

Big cuddly pile

Still windy today

But we were a bit sheltered on the beach

Hazel wrote a book with lots of words!

Landry had his first swimming lesson today!

Here he was listening to the pool rules

Kicking…and not totally ok with splashing his own face

Hazel is learning to glide back to the pool’s edge

She’s also learning how to make a phone call… pretty fun!

The sun came out this morning

But it has been chased away by a rainy windstorm

The ground was leafy and colorful at the park today (similar to Dash Point about a year ago!)

The water was beautifully calm and cold

Gulls feasted earlier and left a wasteland of broken shells/treasure
