We took the opportunity of a dry day to head to a playground after school

That’s a book delivery train that Landry is running beside!

Hazel has been taking a weekly ballet class this fall

Landry would love to be in the class but he has to settle for joining in on the occasional game of freeze dance for the time being

Cat watching

That’s one way…

Travis and Dimitrios were here!

We loved having you here! Come back early and often!!!

It’s Halloween sugar cookie time!

We made orange and purple frosting this year and decorated with four colors of sugar sprinkles

Orange sprinkles on orange pumpkin — yum!

One in a wagon, one on a scooter

I don’t go out of my way to include pictures of the apartment building across the street but I liked this shot of the sky and the kids’ activities and also those apartments were freshly painted

Bus watching at its best on our walk around the neighborhood

This kindergartner rode a school bus to a pumpkin patch today!

She was not inclined to pose with the pumpkin she selected there

Look! We have green grass again! (All it took was six inches of rain in the last several weeks…)

See little Blossom watching the ribbon wands from inside?

Landry frequently aims to hug or kiss the kittens awake, then exclaims “awake!” as if it were a coincidence (but the kitties don’t seem to mind too much)

Helicoptering

Not helicoptering (Hazel chose to draw a monkey on a mountain for her optional “M” homework)

Sister kitties in the window

Later Landry played with Buttercup

Airplane prototype (Hazel has dreams of starting an online paper airplane business)

Train ramp for typhoon day

The kittens are growing (especially this one)

Reaching high

It would seem that they are comfortable here
