Hazel’s division (Opti sailors) completed 4 races throughout the day. From shore it’s hard to tell what’s going on, but a parent with binoculars helped me spot Hazel here: See the big, yellow, inflatable triangular buoy on the right side of this picture? Hazel’s boat is the closest of the three to the left of the buoy!
Meanwhile, Supey and Landry, on their own at home, ventured out to Point Defiance
And found themselves some cones!

Folks, it was a banner day at Mount Rainier! We saw a mountain goat in the wild! Spectacular!
At first we were simply shocked
Then we had to cross behind him to continue hiking… and we did so carefully (but not without more photos)
