Tried. Rethought

Hazel hasn’t had bookshelf emptying plans quite this grand since 2012

With Grammy and Grampy

Action pose at the ready

Kids never tire of watching other kids

Landry doing the clapping he didn’t do above

Hazel has many fingers in her current self portraits (right side up drawing here)

One girl. Two infected ears

Little brother with patience

Definitely on the mend. Definitely wore herself out

Hazel built an elaborate lounging structure from pillows and chairs

Landry, rocket ship captain

When Hazel was building the rocket she was the only one allowed to touch it but once it was complete she offered rides

Hazel needed a late afternoon snooze after all of the aforementioned playing

Hazel engaged Landry in a chasing game that he loved

He came close to catching Humpty Dumpty on straightaways but lost him on the turns

Eyes on the prize

Sick day: just short bursts of playing for this feverish girl

Don’t be fooled by his crawling away from the cabinets… he now requires a chair blocker so as not to squish his fingers in doors or drawers

Landry might be part kitten. No scruff but he relaxes his limbs all the same

Face painting

With brush

And baby powder

Indoor picnic lunch in celebration of spring!

Marching off to her special day

“Swinging into spring” is the awesome new theme of the classroom’s “scenery” as Hazel called it

Landry loves Lincoln

Oops! (no harm done to boy or beast)
