Wildlife in trees

DSC05803
There is a lot of wildlife to enjoy at Nisqually: caterpillars, chorus frogs* in trees, snakes in trees, snakes eating chorus frogs while in trees!!!

*Pacific chorus frogs are the state frog of Washington

Who remembers that two years ago this month we discovered Roxbury Puddingstone, the state rock of Massachusetts?

Hammond Pond Reservation in Newton. I highly recommend it — might make a good lunch hour hike for you!
