House halves

Today is Hazel’s equal house halves day: she has lived in our Washington house exactly as many days as our Watertown house: 4 years, 9 months and 3 days. Keen observers might notice that she is older than twice that age. I’ve left off the approximately seven weeks we were between houses.*
