There is a lot of wildlife to enjoy at Nisqually: caterpillars, chorus frogs* in trees, snakes in trees, snakes eating chorus frogs while in trees!!!
*Pacific chorus frogs are the state frog of Washington

Hammond Pond Reservation in Newton. I highly recommend it — might make a good lunch hour hike for you!
