We visited Mt. Rainier again today at the access area called Sunrise, which is the highest point in the park that can be reached by vehicle. (At 6400 feet the parking lot is higher than the summit of Mt. Washington!)

We ascended another 300 feet along the Sunrise Nature Trail

Which was absolutely stunning

On both sides of the ridge

Landry opted for the carrier early on

But had loads of enthusiasm for a juice box at lunch

All in all, it was breathtaking

And here, of course, is the must-have whole family timer picture

We did a lot of boating this trip

Grammy was modeling boating safety for the kids

The Donzi (our boat) turns 20 years old this summer!
