Sick day cruise

Hazel was home sick from school today. We took a leaf-peeping drive to get out of the house

All snuggled up and ready to ride

Pretend x-ray

Hazel the pretend patient waits for a leg x-ray

I’ve been making an effort to publish semi-happy pictures

Or minimally unhappy ones

Because they’re true too

No fear: the kitty always makes Landry happy

Glued not stitched

This big boy had to be seen at the ER this morning for a forehead laceration

He was such a cooperative patient (even his normal silly-goose self at times)

Hazel was such a cooperative big sister (and kind and concerned too)!

If you want to see a picture of the wound click here.

After all was said and done we made it to Hazel’s trick or treating event for her Elsa debut!

Landry dressed as Franken-baby

The docs used glue and a special thread technique to fix Landry up (no stitches)

Bridge building

A most earnest “please”

Hazel was terribly excited to check completed activities off our illustrated weekend activity list

Landry narrates “uh oh, uh oh” as he climbs now (It’s actually really helpful!)

Not happy about sandy hands

Every week more eager with trash barrels than the last

Fall bundles

Landry requested boots by name, so boots he wore

We visited a new-to-us branch of the BPL this morning

Lots to read and play

Beautiful light, too
