Hazel’s pitiful cold virus face

Extra cuddles and screen time were in order

So far not sick

All I see are lashes (and Lincoln)

Hazel’s first activity at school this morning was painting with daubers. She’s always loved a dauber!

Here’s a school bus full of Hazel’s classmates. It hangs above their coat and bag hooks

Sunshine boy while big sis was at school

Landry slumped himself into this silly position

Ultimately drawing Hazel’s attention

Hazel wanted to take pictures with the remote control. I set her up like this but didn’t tell her when the camera was ready. The first click of the shutter (this picture) was a surprise

Amid the many clicks we added a couple people

Landry still loves his side

Hazel tells us what she’s playing

Landry fell asleep holding the side of his chair

And here’s how I found him after a short ride home

We walked home from school

Hazel’s class made apple cake. She was sent home with a still-warm slice

We spent a quick 22.5 hours in New Hampshire

It was a brilliantly sunny autumnal equinox

Perfect for reading and tracing numbers in books

Hazel was playfully roaring at Landry because we were pretending he was a baby monster

There’s no such thing as too many kisses

We introduced Landry to swinging today

While Hazel learned to swing like this from a five year old on the neighboring swing

Landry concentrated on holding Sutton’s finger. He also used it to gently swing himself!

More introductions to swinging, this time of the indoor variety

Think he’ll learn to love the bouncing swing as much as his sister?

Kid in kitty sweater with kitty cat

Grabbing the fabric

I was trapped in a mud pit beneath the big toy and Hazel could only communicate with me through this ladder rung

Supey found us after her work talk which obviously made Landry very happy
