We were running around the table and I surprised her by looping back

Later we took a moment for lip goo application

Attempting to put on socks

Hazel made a big show of tying the laces

Tah-dah!

Little girl in a big field

Hazel loved these stairs. We did at least three laps

Then we found this funny granite sculpture garden

From which we watched dogs

Here, behind Hazel, the public works crew was gearing up for tonight’s snow

These days Hazel likes to hold the phone to her ear all by herself

Today Hazel built a Duplo office for her Duplo lady

Here I made her take out her pac and look up at the camera

This is how Hazel plays “toxyrhina” (aka Cretoxyrhina, a game in which her dinosaurs look for a shark from the Cretaceous time period) over the arm of a chair

We explored Mount Auburn Cemetery in a dusting of snow

There were seed cones and animal footprints and countless other marvels hiding in the flakes

Hooray for Travis! (We miss you.)

Hazel enjoys a long run in the evening (not unlike this a few months ago)

Hazel’s pal Molly was back to play today (remember when they were little and tiny?)

Serious helicopter admiration

Hazel, Katie, Molly and Erin
(Someone might as well have said “quick, everyone look down!”)

Supey was taking pictures today!
