New venue, same activity as yesterday

Acrobat at zoo camp pickup

We had an incredibly active day but I only got one picture, this one, of Landry resting

First day of seasonal summer! First day of functional summer!

First day of zoo camp for Landry!

First day without training wheels! [video]

First visit to the playground at Landry’s new preschool (The chef was serving spaghetti and meatballs)

Posing for the picture but antsy to go to school

Running home in the rain

Landry built dozens of tiny homes for tiny trains

Craft time at karate camp

Landry asked for heart toast, so this is what I came up with

“Foxie’s going uuuuup!”

Relaxed enough to dangle

We made it all the way out to the fourth gazebo at Nisqually

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day

Peekaboo from the first gazebo

Shadow family over tidal wetland mud

Cute cute matchy matchy

My scooter dream team

Relay race

Later, Landry was a mechanic for sick and injured scooters. His helmet turned into a toolbox

Landry met a classmate at a playground

They spent a long time cracking each other up on the tire swing

Waiting….

For Hazel on the final Friday of first grade! (The fifth and final theme of spirit week was “sports day”)

Landry always runs ahead when we’re close to home

Big day for our butterflies

It was also pajama day at Hazey’s school

Painted lady

Buttercup was terrified of the vet’s office but she did wonderfully there and Landry was a big help

Blossom is pretty much going nuts without her energetic playmate

Hazel got goofy with her last homework sentences of first grade and had to do some erasing

Buckling down: “How did your sock get lost on the bus?”

We accommodated the kitty during bedtime reading, which is how they ended up in this configuration
