It is spirit seek at Hazel’s school again! Hazey had big plans for crazy hair day
For starters Landry was encouraged to participate
Hairdo from the front
Crisscross braids from the back
This kitty hasn’t been feeling well. Get better now!
We loved the finished sand sculpture at the zoo! Stunning sand sea creatures!
Playground peeps
The kids gave Grandma Linda a tour of our raised garden beds
Then more Cains came
We belatedly celebrated Landry’s birthday
Has anyone ever seen a bigger beach ball?!?
Uncle Ben took some beautiful pictures, such as this
And this one too
Hazel moved the characters; Landry clicked the pictures
Lying down while playing (while sick but hopefully finally on the mend after six days of this insanity)
Hazel has huge ideas for Duplo stop motion animation
Fierce slipper battle from block encampment
Off to school we go!
For a field trip to the Seattle Aquarium!
Picnic lunch was fun
But the school bus ride was the very best part
Mr. Stomach Bug stayed home with Supey
They painted (on and off the intended paper)
In the afternoon we were all back together again
Landry often scares the kitties (generally though not always by accident) but today he and Buttercup were in the zone!
Hazel earned a “Sasquatch Scarf” and certificate at school today in recognition a year of great reading
Happily succeeding at noodle-assisted treading
I forgot to post this one yesterday: Our caterpillars have turned to chrysalides and we were able to move them into the butterfly habitat
Light up sneakers times two
Landry is 4 today! (Wearing new sneaks!)
We had fun with bubbles
We painted rocks
It was a top notch family project!
But there was also a lot of this
And this
And this
Because this guy is sick
Poor bub (sleeping with a rock!)
Good thing we started the party yesterday with early candles and singing
Because turns out it was not going to happen today
This did happen today, meow meow
Evening addendum: after a long nap the birthday boy had a bit of bounce back in him!
We started at our community parade on Landry’s last day of being 3
Hazel quite enjoyed the closed street
Bike course creation
Bikers ready
Arno helped us trim a limb with his very tall extend-o-saw!
