Two weeks old

Shared real estate

Waiting at the spray park….which never came on (Hazel took it better than most; there were a lot of crying kids in bathing suits)

Instead we went to the playground. Much better!

Periscope to the trees

Landry is very floppy in the heat

This picture reminded me a bit of this one (in which Hazel is 13 days old, just one day younger than Landry is today)

Place to be

Tummy time together

First Hazel wanted to read one book over and over. Eventually she wanted to read just one page over and over (It wasn’t the page pictured here but it did have Vikings with burning bottoms)

The spray park was the place to be today! It was hopping

Hazel carefully used tweezers to remove the source of Stuffy’s ailment

Watching and listening to sheep and lambs baa

Digging loose some packed soil

Snoozing back at home

Outside some more: this is a twirl squirt

Hazel was pretending to be a teacher and was telling her students what to do

At Hazel’s request

Sorry folks, too tired for a title tonight

Rainy morning at the Lego store

Saying a quick hello to Grandma Linda

Helping Mommy write thank you notes

Laura stopped by for a snug and stayed for a lively game of ball fight in the yard (sadly no pictures of that)

I might as well just admit up front that I’m mildly obsessed with having both kids in my lap

Due date

Who can believe that we might have had to wait this long or longer to meet Landry?

Look! Two kids in one lap! (I’m so glad to have a lap back)

Story time in Hazel’s big girl bed

There are new puzzles at the library (And this was Landry’s first time there!)

Here Hazel was painting/cleaning her lawn mower

Outdoor baby (day 9, playground 4)

“Mommy, I’ll watch baby brother” (One of two times Hazel volunteered to do this today. Also she is eating a wedge of lime, a new favorite)

At least one project a day these days

An oft-seen, seldom photographed angle of Landry’s head

And another of the usual angle

Buckled up times two

First trip with two kids in the back

Hazel was a great helper at Landry’s first appointment with the pediatrician

Playing with the scale

And the infant scale too

Speaking of scales, Landry now weighs 7 lbs 3 oz

After we got home we got Hazel’s second ever request to hold the baby

Taken yesterday at 5 days old

Slurpee season

When we have Landry in the stroller this is how Hazel walks. She gives reports on his well being as we go

New baby = Slurpee season! (Sutton joined us!)

Shaded baby

Wrinkled brow, a Landry signature expression

Applied by the big sister…I guess we can keep him!
