Kneading pretzel dough

“I’m a very strong girl”

Same event, same weekend, one year bigger!

Inside the parking lot leaf sucker-upper with parental support

Then thrilled to be giving it a try on her own

This year Hazel walked up the ramp of the moving truck backward

It was also at the moving truck that she scored her prized possession of the day

A multicolored pollipop!

Biggest tire, biggest claw, oh my goodness

Mail carrier Hazel

Back at home: toes in the sun

Hazel’s a little bit like a cat

She knows the proper time of day to watch for Supey out the window

Lincoln was there too, though possibly still wanting to be asleep

Don’t worry: the push was choreographed in advance

p.s. “Start at the end” means start at the beginning

There were also cucumber, carrot and pepper strips

Kick

Kick

Kick

Look

At the diner with Clare and Sutton!

These stools might have well have been labeled TODDLER TOYS

Captured

We picked up loads of fresh stories from the library today

Many lunches, actually. So many that I couldn’t narrow this post down to one.

We love the barn cat

A ghost must have rung the breakfast bell because they all came running for seemingly no reason

Pumpkins all in a row. (Hazel cared more about going underneath the rope barrier here.)

Multitasking: running down the hill while watching her shadow

Look how much has changed in 5 weeks! (I’ve been saving this picture since 9/17)

Rare

But true
