I just finished season one of Spartacus: Blood and Sand. If you can stomach loads of blood and guts and all things unsettling, I highly recommend watching this bad boy.  Plus, it’s streaming on Netflix right now.  So no excuses.  Watch it.

I would not, however, watch it on an airplane.  I was too hooked to put it away, but the embarrassment factor was high.

If you have a Wii, make sure you get your free instant streaming disc so you can watch on your TV.

Well, okay, she’s just a baby. She can’t just drive over and ring the doorbell herself. So I guess I should say Alayne and Jason swung by for a visit with their baby. Katie jiggled her around a little.

Myth or urban legend or whatever, a highly unscientific experiment proved that it is definitely easier to balance an egg on the spring equinox. Yesterday, the egg wouldn’t balance. Today, here ya go.

Coincidence? Luck? Either way, it has been an absolutely fantastic sunshiny day today.  Thank you spring!

Sunshine! (relative) Warmth! I know this could all be an evil trick, a little teaser before a giant March blizzard, but I don’t care. It’s sunny and warm and I gotta say I am really into it.

I saw loads of people along the river, squinting like bears coming out of hibernation. Pale faces exposed to the sun. Anybody doing anything exciting on a sunny Sunday?

Lincoln has joined some kind of cat gang with an arm shaving initiation.

Either that or he had some teeth pulled at the vet and they put an IV in his arm.

Since I worked in two different states, both with income tax, I file two state returns plus one federal.  I’m not having fun.

This ridiculous use of infographics on the Rhode Island form makes it all the worse.  It’s mocking me.

I’m doing the pen and paper method.  Does anybody pay a tax preparer or use Turbo Tax or something?
