Posting every day this month was rarely a chore and the benefits have been many. A lot of comments. A lot of hits (yes I do check those). A lot of fun. At least, I had a lot of fun. So, thanks.
Oh, and I saw the vampire movie. Twilight. I thought it was fantastic.
While I hope to keep on keeping on, I will be out of town for three days. In the meantime, Oliver will keep you company.

For the second weekend in a row, I headed out of the city for some harvest fun. Davis Farmland Mega Maze delivered. This tube slide alone was worth the trip.

The goal was to make it through the maze, crossing 11 bridges in the process. I think we managed 6 or 7 bridges. I was happy just to make it back out.

Though Grammy Linda (as my Mom is now known) was only here for a long weekend, we got a lot of fun accomplished. Actually, we (meaning Mom) got a lot of chores accomplished too. She irons, she washes dishes, she mends and tailors clothes, she helps make Halloween cookies, and she helps fix vacuum cleaners!

So let this be a lesson to remember your mother, if you’re lucky enough to have one around, with flowers or candy or whatever she loves best this Sunday. You were all once as helpless as baby Oliver here and she was there to take care of your little self.

The sun is shining and we all know what that means. Time to visit the local cemetery! The Mount Auburn Cemetery is actually a lovely place to wander around on a warm spring day.
The tower was a little scary, but offered great views all around.

He is my tiny baby nephew. I have been neglecting him on this site in favor of food. Lately he is just too cute, so have a little sample.
I get my daily baby nephew fix at Oliver Everyday.
Even though I am all grown up now, I still get a snow day. Ain’t life grand?
Guess I’ll get to use my new thermal underwear tomorrow.
