To the lake

Heading for the lake

Found it

We did a lot of water pacing

And some jumping

Digging sometimes requires three generations

Setting up a dinosaur house on the treadmill seemed like a good idea until we learned how unstable blocks are on the belt

Piled high

Make way for ducklings

When we visited the Public Garden this morning we saw real tiny ducklings!

And some grown up ducks in the grass, too

Hazel got a kick out of the McCloskey duck statues

She patted each duckling, from Jack all the way to Quack

She sat on each of the eight as well

After the spray park

I snuck up on them

“Fooping” ice water

Here’s what I got when I asked to see her face

Apparently this is the pouting rock

Phew, back in the game

That last picture reminded me of this other one from about a year ago. Same ball, same yard, same tot…sort of!)

Animals costumed, real and stuffed

Carseat companion

Just hangin’ at the farm

Climbing the fence at the sheep barn

Getting crafty with the drum carder

Oh, the allure of gravel

One full wagon

It takes longer these days but Hazel still eventually gets fed up with the camera

Sutton’s farm

It’s a good thing someone was willing to pick up tiny rocks while we waited for the farmers to break for lunch

Accidental twinsies in yellow

Actual catching!

Farmer Sutton gets to the bottom of the bug situation (there was a green one, a red one and an ant)

As usual Hazel loves chickens

This one’s the real deal

Baking and building

Hazel wants to do all the stirring by herself

Here she’s building houses for the tiny kitty figures (At the moment this picture was taken the kitties were moving from their house on the white block to their new, letter block embellished house.)

When wiping ink off her hands she included the kitty’s paw

Pre-summer solstice

Close enough to the spray-park spray to feel some drops

In the puddle! TAH DAH!

Victory lap

At the park with Beth and Portia

Hazel suggested that her animals “say cheese” when I took out the camera

Then she took them to school and read them a story
