We had a fabulous walk along the Nisqually delta mud flats today, spying two soaring bald eagles, a fishing blue heron, and two hopping rabbits

This face is a exertion-while-hanging-on face, not one of disgust

Hazel made her own crown, wand and skirt during camp

You should have seen her beaming from the stage! (Also, sorry for the abrupt ending)

This guy made up some great nature games at Snake Lake and we ran into friends from Hazel’s preschool before we left!

We visited Mt. Rainier again today at the access area called Sunrise, which is the highest point in the park that can be reached by vehicle. (At 6400 feet the parking lot is higher than the summit of Mt. Washington!)

We ascended another 300 feet along the Sunrise Nature Trail

Which was absolutely stunning

On both sides of the ridge

Landry opted for the carrier early on

But had loads of enthusiasm for a juice box at lunch

All in all, it was breathtaking
